Olympic sprint legend Usain Bolt 

has wished his fans all over the world a Merry Christmas on his official Twitter account. Bolt has received a number of plaudits in 2012 after he starred at the London Olympic Games by claiming the 100m. 200m and 4x100m titles, the Daily Mail reports. Bolt became the only man to have retained both individual sprint golds and helped his team become the first to run under 37 seconds in the relay, the paper added. The Jamaican's sixth Games gold made him the most decorated Olympic sprinter of all-time, it reported. Bolt posted a message on his Twitter account with a picture of him celebrating in London with three Christmas baubles replaced by his gold medals.



No "Teletubby' house for Neville.

 Former manchester United midfielder Gary Neville has dumped plans to build and under ground home, also called the Teletubby house, because it was disturbing his neighbours.
    Neville, the England coach and football pandit, sid he didn't wanted to alienate his family from the local people and therefore abandoned plan to create an underground house, The Sun reports.
   Neville bought the $8 million estate near Bolton seven years ago, and the defender admitted he was shocked and concerned at the furore from locals over his plans for the five-bedroom grass-covered pad, the paper said.

THIS YESR'S BIGGEST FAILS IN GAMING

Two games that were the biggest disappoints are Mass effect 3 and diablo 3, the first being tipped as one of the greatest games ever while the latter had been eagerly anticipated for over 4 years.
Mass effect 3 ran into controversy with regards to the games plot and abrupt ending that angered the fans. While EA and Bioware did their best by providing further clarifications  and even releasing free content regarding the ending the fans were disappointed after all the hyper that had been generated
Unlike Mass effect 3, Diablo 3 ran into problems right at the launch with players being unable to log into the game servers for the first few days which Gradually the problem was solved but thing didn't stop there . the game launched without the much anticipated PVP (multiplayer) leaving coop campaign re-runs as the replay value.
Another low point of the year was the gaming giant THQ filing for bankcruptcy.
After severe financial trouble they offered their top titles through the Humble Bundle, anintiative to give indie developers an easy means to distribute their games . Through they raised almost USD 5 million the company filed for bankcruptcy soon after. Chantelle Houghton braved Christmas rush and took her baby daughter Dolly to meet Santha Claus at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Thurrock, Essex, according to the Daily Mail.
       The 29-year-old reality star gazed adoringly at her little girl as she treated her to a trip to the grotto, where she is said to have promptly burst into tears upon seeing Doolly on Santa's knee.
       Before heading inside to the grotto, Chantelle held her little girl, who was wearing a ping polkadot all-in-one, close and showed her the festive additions at the sight.
      And Dolly, whose father is Chantelle's ex-fiance Alex Reid, appeared slightly over whelmed, with a bemused look on her face as she took in her surroundings.

 David Beckham is blowing $250,000 taking his family on a Christmas break to a tropical paradise.
He, wife Victoria and their four kids will spend 11 nights at the luxury One'n'Only Reethi Rah resort in the Maldives, The Sun reported.
    The hotel boasts 130 private villas, 12 beaches, 40 pools and its own seaplane.
    The Beckhams' suite is the costliest available, costing $8,600 a night or $6 a minute. But they have booked three more, each costing $3,700 a night, taking the room bill alone to $217,7000.
    Dinner in the swish restaurant will set them back by a few thousand pounds,which of course will make no difference to the jet-setting Beckhmas.
  The Beckhams flew to the Maldives from Britain just before the long weekend began, then took a private plane to the resort.
