Aiming to set a benchmark in the sport touring segment yet again, BMW Motorrad also had something special to showcase at the Milan show this year: the BMW F 800GT, successor to the BMW 800 ST.
The 800GT has a 798-cc, liquid-cooled, two-cylinder in-line engine producing 92 PS of peak power, about five PS more than the 800 St. In addition to that, this bike brings along better engonomics, optimised wind and weather protection ,greater luggage space, ABS as standard and other features like stability control and suspension adjustment, making it even more favourable as a tourer. Needless to say, the new 800GT looks better than its predecessor and is even lighter. Add-on accessories like an Akrapovic slip-on sports silencer are also available. Moreover , power reduction to 50 PS is also available as per the rider's requirements.
