SPECIALITY OF GOA;-

Goa is the best tourist place in India.It is located at Konkan in West India.It's capital is Panaji. The largest city in Goa is Vasco Da Gama. Goa is smallest in area and in smallest population it stands Fourth in position.It is surrounded by Maharashtra on North side, by Karnataka on East and South side and by Arabian Sea on West side. Comparing with whole country Goa is the richest state containing GDP Per Capita more than two and half times.For Infrastructure it was ranked best by Finance Commission Eleventh and best life quality by National Commission.Every year large number of tourists from National and International  visit Goa for beach,devotional places like temples, churches and for Architecture.Goa is also rich in Flora & Fauna. situated on Western Ghats.
GEOGRAPHY;-

Goa contains Rivers like Chaporakushavati, Terekal, Mandovi, Zuari and Sal. Mormugao harbour is located at the River Zuari, which is the best natural harbour. Zuari and Mandovi are the busiest rivers flows in India.Goa contains Eight Marine, Ninety Riverine and Forty Estuarine Islands.The total length of Goa River is 253 KM.
CLIMATE ;-

Goa is near to Arabian Sea having hot and humid climate 

mostly in the year.The temperature in the month of May is more than 35°C. The Monsoon rains arrive by June Month and gives a most relief  from hot temperatures  The rainfall is upto the month of September.Winter season is from December to February.In that winter season the day temperature is 28°C and night temperature is 21°C.

 

There are many Resorts,Hotels in Goa More than Two Million People visited Goa in the year 2010 and nearly 1.2 million visited from other countries.
